The LINCOLN AND KENNEDY ASSASSINATIONs
Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy have many similarities involving their assassinations. In fact, there are so many eerie similarities, I am only going to list the biggest coincidences, so the page isn't a mile long.
- Lincoln was elected in 1860, JFK was elected in 1960
- In '63 both presidents issued an act concerning African-Americans. Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, and JFK issued the Civil Rights act.
- Both presidents had a son die during presidency
- Lincoln was shot by John Wilkes Booth in Ford's Theater, and JFK was shoot by Lee Harvey Oswald in a Lincoln car, made by Ford.
- Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy, who warned him not to go to the theater, and Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln, who warned him not to go to Dallas.
- Booth ran from a theater, and was caught in a warehouse, and Oswald ran from a warehouse, and was caught in a theater.
- Both assassins were killed before their trials
- Lincoln, Kennedy, Booth, and Oswald were all shot in the head.
